Paddle Battle

Outscore the AI in a paddle duel

Paddle Battle is a two-paddle arcade duel rebuilt for the browser. You control the left paddle and face an AI opponent on the right; the ball speeds up with every volley, and the first side to force enough misses takes the match. It is the timeless rally game with a clean, modern look.

Move your paddle to keep the ball in play and angle your returns to push the AI out of position. The ball's bounce depends on where it strikes your paddle, so aiming near the edges sends it at sharper angles. Each successful return also nudges the speed up, turning long rallies into tense exchanges.

The AI tracks the ball with a limited reaction speed, so patience and well-placed shots win more than frantic swinging. Because there is no luck, every point is earned through positioning and timing. A short match is perfect for a quick competitive break.

No download, no login, no accounts. Paddle Battle runs instantly in your browser on desktop or mobile, and the controls adapt to touch or keyboard. Challenge the AI whenever you have a minute.

Frequently asked questions

Can I play against a friend instead of the AI?

This version is you versus the built-in AI. It is tuned to be beatable with practice but never random.

What decides the ball angle?

Where the ball meets your paddle - striking near the top or bottom edge deflects it more steeply than a center hit.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Touch dragging controls the paddle, and the game fits any screen in the browser.
